Care Works
Thrive HQ Provides
an Innovative Wellness Service
to support the health and quality of life of your employees; through offering
safe and effective chiropractic care.
Companies rely on their employees for optimal performance and profit, and are most impacted when staff need to miss work due to pain or ill health. Musculoskeletal disorders that are related to work activities, are considered the single largest factor of illness due to work; this includes more than a third of all occupational illnesses in the United States.
No matter whether the work activity is a deskbound position, or more manual labor; the effect over time is still the same in regard to developed neuromusculoskeletal dysfunction.
Chiropractic care is a non-invasive and successful way to improve overall health & wellness, and can easily be delivered in an office setting with minimal equipment needed. A licensed chiropractor can provide effective adjustments in as little as 10 minutes, allowing your staff to achieve relief and healing of their pain/symptoms; thus improving productivity, decreasing healthcare costs, missed work and overall quality of life.

In as little as 10 minutes, through correcting the alignment of the spine and improving nervous system function; your employees can experience a health reset that will transform how they feel and perform.

IASTM
(Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization)
The muscles and fascia (dense connective tissue that runs throughout the body) can become bound up and develop adhesions and scar tissue from repetitive stressors or trauma. In order to regain proper mobility and function, the myofascia needs to be released through a technique called IASTM (Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization), which greatly supports the chiropractic adjustment.

Tapping into the
autonomic nervous system
Help your employees shift out of chronic fight or flight defense response, through learning practices that tap into the autonomic nervous system and opens a sense of safety and connection.

I’ve been a client for some time now and I’ve received incredible attention and fantastic adjustments. I always leave with a smile when we’re done because I feel so good. I recommend Elaine to fellow business owners and suggest this for their employees. When my staff feels good, they’re less prone to injuries. It shows commitment to the staff that they are important and the company wants to take care of them.

Thrive HQ FAQ
1 What Can I Expect?
The first step for the employee is a thorough new patient exam where their health history and current needs are discussed; followed by an exam checking range of motion, with orthopedic and neurological exams performed as appropriate, to determine if chiropractic care would be of benefit to their healthcare needs.
If they are a good candidate for chiropractic care, an adjustment will be provided at that time, followed by a recommendation based on their needs for follow-up wellness care. This initial appointment will take about 20 minutes.
Follow up wellness adjustments can easily be incorporated into the work day, taking about 10 minutes.
2 What is Chiropractic?
When a person experiences chemical, emotional and/or physical stressors the spine and nervous system respond by locking into a defensive posture leading to different expressions of pain and dysfunction; such as headaches, neck/upper back pain and stiffness, low back/hip pain, sciatica, etc. The spinal segments/joints become locked, reducing proper range of motion, decreasing nervous system function, and adding to tight/bound muscles and fascia.
3 What is Myofascial Release?
The muscles and a dense connective tissue called fascia, surround and support the spine. When we experience different repetitive stressors or potential traumas, these tissues become bound up and develop adhesions and/or scar tissue. In order to release this restricted tissue, different techniques such as IASTM (instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization), or cupping can be utilized.
This therapy may be recommended as appropriate to support the chiropractic adjustments, and the individual’s wellness needs and goals. This add on will be completed in a separate 10 minute appointment.
3 What is Polyvagal Theory?
The polyvagal theory was developed by Stephen Porges, PhD; based on a neuropsychological understanding of the vagus nerve and its role in emotion regulation, the sympathetic/fear response, and social connection.
Specific exercises focused on relaxing the vagus nerve resets the nervous system, bringing the individual into a space of safety and connection.
4 Do You Take Insurance?
ThriveHQ does not take insurance at this time. A *superbill will be provided as requested, to receive a reimbursement from the employee’s insurance company.
*What’s a superbill?
A superbill shows an itemized list of services that you have received from an out-of-network provider. It’s like a detailed invoice or receipt. A therapist may provide you with a superbill — a specific document required by an insurance company — that allows you to seek reimbursement for an out-of-network provider.
Employee HSA/FSA accounts can be used for payment of services.
If your business would like to discuss other payment options, please don’t hesitate to discuss this during your initial consultation with the doctor.
